We’ve created this page because we believe in open and honest cruise blogging.
We blog because we are passionate about cruising. Our blogs, videos, tweets and Instagram pictures are our way of sharing our adventures with our followers, you. We love it when you tell us how we’ve helped you decide on a cruise or thank us for advice and tips we give.
We are ‘freetime’ bloggers, blogging between our regular work and daily life. You will not find a ‘tariff guide’ on this site as we do not charge by the Tweet, Facebook post, Video or Blog article.
Visits, Events and gifts
A popular misconception is that bloggers gets lots of ‘freebies’ and ‘sponge’ off businesses.
We want to be open and honest so will always declare below and in our blogs or video descriptions when we’ve been provided something for free which normally isn’t available or normally charged for.
Bloggers get invited to events and visits and we think it’s important you know when we’ve attended these so we will also declare these below – we will try and do this in advance when aware.
|Ship Visit: Royal Princess, June 2018.
||Ship tour and lunch provided by Princess Cruises UK. Provided with ship information and images for use in our blog posts.
|Ship Visit: Pacific Princess, August 2018.
Ship tour provided by Princess Cruises UK.
Choose Cruise Member for 2020
We are also a CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) Choose Cruise Member for 2020. This means we have paid a membership fee to CLIA which will give us access to resources and events during the year. When we attend a event, we will add this below so that you know this was an event specific to CLIA members.
Social media followers and likes
We promise we will never inflate our followers, subscribers or likes on any platform by purchasing fake followers.
The pressure is on for bloggers to hit a certain number of followers, you can buy these online – it’s not on and we won’t be part of it! Enough said!
While members of many Facebook groups, in this section we will let you know if we are an Administrator or Moderator of any.
